Humility lets us learn without agreeing that disappointment makes us worthless.\n\nWhen things go well, we can stop asking whether we are still willing to follow Jesus if the attention disappears. “Let no dream become my master.” That prayer gets specific when the opportunity asks us to lie, neglect someone, or become someone we do not want to be. Bring Jesus the part of you that is willing to pay that price just to be seen.
