An Artist Completely Changed

Someone stole Thomas Perry Jr.’s music and put it out under a name close enough to his that people thought it was him.

It wasn’t a setback. It was a breaking.

The theft ripped the cover off everything he’d been protecting—ego, control, the carefully managed version of faith that still left him running the show. Wounds he’d been managing instead of surrendering got forced into the open. Idols he’d been feeding got starved. The performance ended. What was left had to either die or get rebuilt under Someone else’s name.

He repented. He stopped trying to save the project and started depending on the One who could save him.

Gospel Protocol is what came out of that wreckage.

These songs are not inspiration. They’re evidence. Evidence that Christ meets you in the exact place you got robbed, exposed, and emptied—and proves Himself more faithful than what was taken, more beautiful than what was recovered, and more than enough for the mess that remained.

This project exists because God meant the theft for good.
