A prayer to carry
Father, I have sinned against You and hurt another person with my words. I confess my pride and cruelty. My hope is in Jesus Christ, who died for sins and rose again. Forgive me and cleanse me. By Your Holy Spirit, teach me to put away bitterness, speak truth in love, and make an honest repair. Give me humility to receive correction and obey Your Word. In Jesus' name, amen.

Take one faithful step.
Name the harm you need to confess without an excuse. Ask God for help to make a truthful repair where appropriate, respect the other person’s boundaries, and refuse revenge.
