Father, I need wisdom for the decision before me. Forgive the pride that wants Your approval without Your correction. Help me hear Your Word carefully and receive wise counsel. Keep envy, fear, and selfish ambition from directing me. Give me patience to learn what I do not know, courage to obey what is clear, and humility to change my mind when truth requires it. In Jesus’ name, amen.
