Read the existing journal prayer together or pray in your own words. Allow people to pass rather than requiring a personal disclosure. Keep shared experiences private unless someone’s safety requires appropriate help.
Each person may name one practice for the coming week: listening before answering, apologizing honestly, refusing gossip, or speaking words that help. Do not pressure anyone to contact a person where it would be unsafe or inappropriate.
