These notes are a reading companion. Open the passages, test the notes against Scripture, and bring your questions into the light.
Start small enough to continue
Open the Gospel of Mark and read the first twenty verses. Notice who Jesus is, what He announces, and what He asks of people. You do not have to master the whole Bible before you can listen carefully to one passage.
Keep three simple questions beside you: What does this say? What does it show me about God and people? What response does it call for? Read the surrounding passage before deciding what a single sentence means.
Take the next step with someone
Prayer can begin with honest words: gratitude, confession, need, and a request for help to obey. Use Jesus’ teaching in Matthew 6 to let God’s name, kingdom, provision, forgiveness, and protection shape what you ask.
Find a local church that opens the Bible and points people to Jesus. Ask a mature Christian to read with you. The Grow path gives you seven starting sessions; take them at a pace that leaves room to understand and respond.
