Ephesians 2:8–10
Change book or chapter
8 for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
9 not of works, that no one would boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them.

Grace changes more than appearances.
Ephesians calls believers to put off the old life and live as people made new in Christ. Salvation is His gift; repentance and Spirit-enabled obedience belong to the life He gives.
Provision without a bargain.
Jesus calls His disciples to seek God's kingdom and trust their Father with daily needs. Bring Him the real shortage without treating prayer or giving as a bargain for prosperity.
Your access to God rests in Christ.
Hebrews 12 points beyond human approval to Jesus, the mediator of the new covenant. Come to God through Him, receive correction, and keep following when an opportunity closes.

What is the gospel?
The gospel is the good news of Jesus Christ: He died for our sins, was buried, and was raised. Through Him, sinners are reconciled to God.
How can I be saved?
Come to Jesus Christ in repentance and faith. Salvation is God’s gift through the crucified and risen Lord, received by trusting Him.
Grace before performance
Ephesians 2 places God’s mercy before our good works. That order changes both our confidence and the reason we obey.
